It's definitely far from perfect, but when you want a game in VR, even just a bit visually, and there are no other options. It was great for Skyrim prior to the native implementation doing it better (due to the devs having access to everything in the car and not just hooking the lock). Vorpx is like trying to use a coat hanger to squeeze between the cracks of a car window when you've been locked out and hook the lock, except it only allows you to lock and unlock with that hook, but the door has been welded shut, so you are limited with what you can do. This means that it's very difficult to create more native implementations like the Fully Possessed mod for Doom 3 BFG. Most games are locked down, so that you can't modify or reuse the code very easily. It's not meant as a means to play VR games natively, but to play those games that you want to view in a VR mode that are unable to otherwise. It does what it's meant to and nothing more.
