To adopt the pets that are currently in the Playscene, right-click on the "Adopt now" tab.
If you are looking to breed pets, then it is advised that you allow time for both puppies or kittens to interact with one another to see if they like one another before adopting them. By clicking on the remaining "pick a pet" sign, you can also take out a second pet of a breed of your choice. Some breeds, such as Mutts, have more due to the potential for them to have different markings. Usually Dog and Cat breeds have around 2-3 variations in their appearance-including their body colour and eye colour. The appearance of the breed and gender is randomly selected. Once you have selected a breed, an individual of that breed will come out from the center gates. If you have installed both Catz 5 and Dogz 5, then you can choose from the total of 30 breeds available. If you are playing Catz 5, then the breeds available will be the 15 different cats breeds. If you are playing Dogz 5, then the breeds available for selection will be the 15 Dog breeds. The breeds displayed will depend on the version of the game you are playing.
This will open a drop-down menu, displaying various breeds. To first adopt a pet, right-click on the "pick a pet" sign. When you start the game you will be directed to this playscene, where you have to adopt a dog or cat in order to gain access to the different playscenes. The Adoption Center is a playscene where you are able to take out and adopt puppies and/or kittens. If my solution does not fix it, I would consider consulting the manuals, read-me's, and online help.The Adoption Center as it appears in Petz 5. If you do not have Windows XP, then I'm not certain what your problem is. It's kind of disappointing playing the game without being able to hear your Dogz but it's a sacrifice you'll have to make to play the game. If you do that, everything should be fine. All you need to do is start your Dogz 4 program and before doing anything else, go into the Preferences/Options (whatever it's called) and turn off the sound. It's very simple to fix but it can take some fun out of the game. If you have Windows XP installed on your computer as your operating system, that is your problem. Since I have none of these details to work with, I am going to explain to you what might be the problem (if the case is how I state it) and how you can fix it. It would have helped if you had been more specific with your question as there are crucial details needed to solve your problem. I own Dogz 4 and have experienced similar problems myself.
